It is well known that Lord of the Rings functions as both an extension as well as expansion of the “alchemical marriage” described in the Bibles Book of Revelation. If one study’s Tolkien work for any length of time one can see that Tolkien numbered his characters, as well as their titles and even weapons to align and correspond with notable numbers in various informational systems. Aragorn; the story’s surrogate protagonist, carry’s a sword called “#Anduril” which is appropriate because this synthetic name carries the same simple gematria as #Sword; both summing to 79. Gematria is a numbering practice where in each letter of the alphabet is assigned a numerical value and Isopsephy is the practice of adding up the numbers of those letters into a single accumulative sum and the latter also strives to encompasses what those can numbers mean. One way we can be reasonably sure that this was its authors intention is because #J. R. R. Tolkien adds up to 132 in simple gematria the same number as #Isopsephy in the same cipher. As a scholar he likely took note of this synchronicity early on in his career and was prompted to work the practice into his story.
The intuitive practice of channeling is a predictive sort of science based on human cognition and not a reflection of the natural world. In dealing with these numbers it is key to a productive learning model that we not make the mistake of assuming a universal constant in regard to any perceived associations. In a cognitive sense a number can be charged to mean any number of things but it can never be used to absolutely communicate anything but the quantity it represents. The same goes for letters; the letter ‘F’ having been used in the most common scholastic grading system to mean “failure” has over time it has been given a negative charge and has been used as the symbol for inadequacy and intellectual short comings but a similar idea could be communicated with a double negative in a star based system; A “four star restaurant” being a good place to eat depending on ones budget. There are all sorts of ways to transfer unspoken ideas and numbers only represent one of the more practical of these means.
Channeling is a ultimately a form of reality selection and in the western world and English dialects this practice is still being defined. According to eastern tradition the nearest approximation is most likely Taoism but in its simplest of terms it would be those features which point to an understanding beyond themselves or more specifically those repetitions of symmetries with in a given systems defining characteristics. This is most evident in use of slang vocabulary and why humans use it. An effective slur or nickname used to describe the negative aspects of a person group of people often employ at least two separate layers of meaning which add a level of staying power to the nickname. A good conventional example currently making its rounds is that a Donald Trump supporter can rightfully be called a ‘Trumpanzee” this nickname (or slur) is a rather obvious way of linking the Donald Trump supporter with that of the order of uncivilized primates. However there is also a third and largely unseen aspect to this word-curse one that is found its numeralogical features. This has up to now been largely avoided due to its overwhelming potential for false positives because these potentials are largely dependent on its creators intention. To reiterate; because this practice is rooted in human cognition and is derived from existing teleological directives, -whether intentional or untinentional. The polarity of these two tendencies represent the first of many duats -an ancient Kemetic word denoting partitions of space-time which separate the self/selves from the physical world.
The first step to reality selection begins with our source of identity and this is always determined by what features we already possess vs. what we want to create for ourselves but even to the most driven of individuals this process of selection isn’t always the most obvious. How then does one go about choosing a new interest or hobby and learn it effectively with as little resistance to our existing skill sets as possible? A more profane question could follow the current of; what is the mechanism for human trends and how can one develop a novel idea or marketing mechanism? Its rather obvious that such things are few and far between and not everyone has the skills to be a millionaire and while it might be true that there are no obvious short cuts to becoming an effective creator there are at least a few obvious entry points one can begin with. In the first place curiosity is probably the beginning of the journey. A voracious mental appetite to categorize cause and effect might be useful as well. This state obviously demands living according to some code or system of beliefs but this process can be totally independent of any religious conviction and interest in a new subject may very well may begin with the realization of an interesting fluke that no one else seemed to notice.
Reverse osmosis of cultural current would appear to be the driving force behind the timing and relevance of trends and key to our interpretation of what is novel and interesting. Such things are not always so easily locked down into predictable model because our intention is a dynamic thing being subject to time, resources and even mood. Further still even an accomplished reader may not be totally interested in dissecting a poem into its most obvious mathematical approximations because the practice is so reductionary that it might well ruin the over all feeling the writing conveys. But that should not imply there aren’t any number of ways to describe a poems various features how ever abstract the source of that data may be or how mathematical those characteristics might end up being. Given the current amount of information available through IT and online social media it might be useful to outline the most common features of these cultural symmetries. These symmetries are defined as points of intersection which cross and allows us to perceive and understand two separate concepts at once and often enhance our reality by offering us the some function of shortcut for its person. But what informational systems might be worth investigating?
The most obvious should therefor be the most common and certainly its true that the most obvious things aren’t always the most impressive for our congenial memory. A system as common as the Bible is often taken for granted, being regarded by some modern philosophers as being culturally dated and even irrelevant. But a similar argument can easily be made for the field of quantum physics. Certainly the predictions of the more complicated and theoretical elements can be largely regarded as useless information by the vast majority of people in the world today; however these informational systems are still relevant to the peak of human intellects currently working on those mathematical problems. This is because these facts even if ignored or unappreciated by the lay-person are based on proven and repeatable mathematical results which are a reflection of atomic phenomena. That is; their features aren’t purely defined by personal interpretation and the scientist involved is not just haphazardly making this stuff up. The Periodic table of elements and its various numerical partitions there for represent the broadest human grid defined by the modern practice of science ans number theory.
The practice of gematria has already been employed in both Ancient Hebrew and Greek and the use of numerology (number theory) can be found in the Book of Revelation as well as through out the Bible. The Revelation with its 22 chapter and repetitions of sevens is demonstrably aligned with Pi; 22/7=3.142857… Given these very obvious and undeniable existing alignments we can therefor move forward in regard to the various implications set forth in in Tolkien’s work. With in this writing we shall explore the implication that Tolkien’s description of the ‘Black Speech’ was a commentary on the state of the modern English language and how commercialism strives to control our culture through an advanced use of various systems of Gematria, Isopsephy and number theory. This is not always a strictly scientific practice because the humans of any given target market are not always the most rational creatures and the human demands that form the basis of a market can obviously be industries of vice. Therefor specific topics in some circles might be altogether avoided such as certain moral lessons in the Bible among a group of dishonest Marketers. According to Lord of the Rings the Black Speech was a language used exclusively by the Orcs of Mordor. With a little research its is tolerably clear that Tolkien’s use of Orcs was meant to denote the Orc-hestrators and conspirators who seek to swindle the unsuspecting and innocent people around through dishonest means; aka marketers, advertisers etc. These descriptions of the various races in middle-earth are what makes Lord of the Rings such an important modern literary expression and show that even a purely fictional and contrived fairy tale can be prove itself relevant over and over again when applied to real life.
Within ‘Lord of the Rings’ Tolkien puts forth the synthetic word “Burzum” of the Black Speech which means ‘darkness’ and according to the story the language is spoken exclusively in the dark lord Sauron’s domain of Mordor. This is fitting because Mordor is described as a barren desert where nothing grows; possibly implying that it is a dead or closed language. If we are to proceed with the existing format where in the author uses synthetic substitutes for like terms and implied thought forms than we can explore the possibility that the author was at least partially referring to the word #Christian but it also works in a prophetic sense in regard to the most basic computer programming language of binary whose medium is the elemental realm of Silicon. (Note how Silicon and sand are of a similar composition) Although one must be careful not to ascribe to much weight to any given word or interpretation. It would therefor follow that 101 might be taken to mean the first step in a new study and this is already the case in the numbers most obvious cultural association of learning and course studies. This would seem to coincide with the most basic characteristic of the number which is regarded as a palindromic prime number; that is in addition to only being divisible by one and itself it can be reversed without changing its original meaning.
In studying the actual mathematical properties of the number one can easily be confused and befuddled by its reductive mathematical terms. To start with 101 is a prime number and we know that primes can only be divided by one and themselves but what exactly is that supposed to mean in a cognitive sense or even and everyday sense? Is there a way to perceive a prime number apart from its purely mathematical set of abstractions? How would we go about identifying these characteristics if they were even present? How would we describe our feeling on a prime number if such a thing were even possible? The realm of psychology has already documented a condition called “sythesthesia”. Synesthesia is a regarded as a subjective psychological feature which is defined by the individuals association of sensory phenomena with that of an unrelated person, place or thing. However this could go on to include things like time, themes and in the most general sense quality. Often this is described as an accomplished musicians emotional abstraction/visualization of a musical note, be it an association of colour, mood or some other more elaborate set of associations.
When I was first learning English I set about relating new words and experiences to existing ones that I already knew. My means of associating the various ideas was to say statements like: “lipstick sounds like secrets”… (For what ever reason sound was key in this comparison…) Which of course is nonsense. But at the time this string of ideas held value to me because of the sounds I associated with the lid being put back on a container of lipstick; -which made a cupping/clikety sound. Over all this association is at least partially appropriate in how it is reminiscent of the mysteries of femininity. But the purpose of this analysis is not to go about categorizing individual vocabulary according to some purely arbitrary method but instead focus on the various types of channels in our own Black Speech; Synethesia even if based on subjective sensory phenomena still carries with it certain transferable characteristics which can be shown to be intuited similarly between different persons. The weight and emphasis of description between each person largely coinciding with how they went about interpreting it. A deaf person may not be capable of hearing audio signals but could still be made capable of describing the feeling of a shock wave from an explosion and would likely do so in ways a person with hearing capabilities would not. The point of this example is only to show that descriptions of these processes can almost never be locked down to a statistical absolute; once again the phenomena is polarized and charged against the medium which by default must be neutral in order for us to accurately notice its process with any sense of depth or scale. Absolutes are the basis of myths and therefor have no place in the realm of scientific reasoning.
The collective unconsciousness could therefor be interpreted as a the holographic realm of human experience and no where is this more apparent than the information system of the Bible. Despite all its shortcomings and contradictions it has become a reservoir and record for our human experience. In a way these short comings and contractions make it all the more human as a written refection of our own imperfect human DNA. Whether the individual be a believer or not the fact remains that even one who is purely atheistic would still have to go about interacting with those who are of the opposite polarity. However there must be some middle ground between the two tendencies and the defining characteristics of each side of the polarity don’t automatically break down merely because there exist no agent from either side who can understand or articulate to the other. Such a division only means that a convergence of the two extremes must require sufficient care in order to be properly communicated and understood.
In this day and age the Revelation as opposed to Genesis is probably the better place to start reading the Bible because it holds the key for interpreting the rest of the writing. Its already been pointed out the the Revelation is written around Pi. Specifically the number 22 and more specifically its association with that of the number 7. With out being too specific what follows is that every seven chapters we see a shuffling in tendencies between Positive, Negative and Neutral, or in the simplest of terms a trinity. This is indeed the starting point for any scientifically balanced description of process; a beginning, middle and end. The Hebrew Alphabet is based on 22 letters and so we can gather that the language itself is based on these three tendencies to convey its ideas. There also exist three major ciphers in gematria between Hebrew and English and Simple; the latter being the most simplified form where in each letter holds the numerical value of its place in according to the alphabet sequence. The most common modern Hebrew conversion cipher in use today being first described in “Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy” (1531). In should be noted that each of these keys is a human creation and not necessarily a scientific one but that doesn’t make them its any less useful in mapping the sacred geometries of language. There are reasons why they are in use.
Hebrew is rumored to be based on specific number sets which could be aligned to symmetries in Alchemical and natural phenomena but if there are such alignments they are beyond the scope of this writing. Further because of the kinds of numbers that the Hebrew cipher employs its pathwork does not lend it self very well to the rank amateur. Anyone with even the basic experience in the simple hacking of new #pathwork can attest to its practically infinite spectrum of possibilities. This spectrum of eternity has already been referred to as the Noumenon in Greek; and the Kabbalah in Hebrew and whatever modern English folk descriptions may already be in use today. These concepts have been described and re-described through out history. Author Stephen King has coined the term “Thunderclap” in his epic series The Dark Tower; “Thunderclap is a doomed realm at the edge of End-World just east of the Borderlands and is a dry, rainless desert. It’s described as a land of deserted villages, dead fields, dead soldiers, and blasted trees where the graves vomit out their dead and the clocks run backward.” This fantastic description of an alternate reality described as being reversed from our own lends itself well to the reversible relationship between letters and numbers and its description is also similar to that of Tolkien’s barren land of Mordor and its link to the realm of elemental Silicon, -although this can be easily missed and over looked if not seen in its circular form -an interpretation which is mostly missing from the realm of science and evolutionary biology.
In this sense we who live in this modern age are all 101’s. All of us having been churned from the primordial soup of the digital singularity. Given that the first computer was created in the year 1943 and Lord of the Rings was published in 1954 this interpretation of the significance of the number 101 and the modern associations it carries cannot be ruled out. J. R. R. Tolkien was undoubtedly a high-level genius and quite likely was born with a supra-normal understanding of all the elements in the equation, so to speak. It stands to reason that if he weren’t writing Lord of the Rings he could have easily worked as a computer engineer and likely had a proficient enough grasp of language to understand all of its digital properties even when such technologies were regarded as science fiction by the common lay person. Even beyond this speculation the symmetry and eloquence of his craft sets it apart from any other story in science-fiction/fantasy even if its not regarded as prophetic.
